Country Store Lead General
Summary:
The successful Store Lead candidate has a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service, products, and presentation.
The Country Store Lead needs to be an effective problem solver and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
He/ She will lead a group of associates who are motivated to provide a superior customer experience.
In partnership with the Country Store Manager, he/she helps maximize the overall profitability of the store.
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including weekends and holidays.
Candidates are required to work at least 20 to 30 hours per week.
Working overtime (at least 6 days a week) in the Fall season is a requirement.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Opening and closing duties to ensure smooth daily operations.
Provide exceptional customer service leadership that will encourage customers to return.
Provide leadership support and help run the store under the direction of the Country Store Manager.
Operate cash register and process sales transactions.
Assist in receiving and processing inventory.
Shipping of online orders Stock and restock products on shelves and help with merchandise displays.
Cleaning duties according to opening and closing procedures.
Perform additional duties typically performed by the Country Store Manager in his/her absence Responsible for daily donut management Assist Country Store Manager in training of employees.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Effective interpersonal communication skills Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division Ability to perform cash register functions Knowledge of cash handling procedures Frequent walking, standing, lifting kneeling for stocking merchandise.
Frequent and proper lifting up to 50 pounds Occasional climbing a ladder Fast passed environment and exposure to outside weather condition Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
